Rendzvu Terms of Service

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Rendzvu platform (“Rendzvu,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

These Terms govern your use of our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”).

  1. Nature of the Service

Rendzvu provides an online marketplace that enables hosts (“Hosts”) to offer parking lounges or related spaces (“Listings”) and guests (“Guests”) to book those Listings.

Rendzvu does not own, operate, manage, or control any Listings. Rendzvu is not a real estate broker, parking operator, or insurer. All rental agreements are made directly between Hosts and Guests. Rendzvu’s role is limited to providing the technology and facilitating payments through Stripe, a third-party payment processor.

  1. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

By registering, you represent that all information provided is accurate, complete, and current.

  1. User Responsibilities

For Hosts:

Provide accurate, lawful, and non-misleading information in Listings.

Comply with all local laws, zoning, and HOA rules applicable to your property.

Maintain safe conditions for Guests.

Honor confirmed reservations or applicable cancellation terms.

For Guests:

Use the space only for lawful purposes and respect property rules.

Comply with all local parking, vehicle, and occupancy laws.

Leave the space in the same condition it was received.

  1. Payments, Fees, and Payouts

All payments are processed via Stripe under their own terms and privacy policy. Rendzvu may charge service fees or commissions, disclosed at the time of booking.

Rendzvu does not store credit card details or handle funds directly. Stripe releases payouts to Hosts after completed transactions, subject to Stripe’s verification and timing.

Hosts are solely responsible for reporting and paying applicable taxes on income earned through the Platform.

  1. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies are defined by each Host and displayed at booking. Rendzvu will honor the stated cancellation policy. Refunds, if applicable, are processed through Stripe.

  1. User Content and License

Users may upload photos, descriptions, and related content (“User Content”). By posting User Content, you grant Rendzvu a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for operating, promoting, and improving the Platform.

You warrant that your content does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any laws.

  1. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent Listings.

Use the Platform for unlawful or unsafe activities.

Circumvent payments or book outside the Platform.

Damage, disable, or overburden Rendzvu’s systems. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account.

  1. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Rendzvu provides its services “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties regarding uninterrupted access, accuracy, or suitability for a particular purpose.

Rendzvu is not responsible for:

The condition, safety, legality, or suitability of Listings;

Conduct of Hosts or Guests;

Any direct or indirect damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

In no event shall Rendzvu’s total liability exceed the amount paid by you to Rendzvu in the past 12 months.

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rendzvu, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the Platform;

Your breach of these Terms; or

Your violation of any third-party rights or laws.

  1. Termination

Rendzvu may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations of these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform immediately ceases.

  1. Dispute Resolution

You agree to resolve any disputes with Rendzvu through binding arbitration on an individual basis, not as a class or collective action. The arbitration shall be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in [CA]. You waive the right to a jury trial.

  1. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Insert State], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
